Wubar trip and AlKathf douns (full day 8 hours).
The trip start in noon the first destination in Northern part of salalah , About 40 KM from Salalah city we reach (Wadi Dawkah , Reserve for frankincense trees, sacred tree).The second stop in the town of Thumrait for a short break and continue towards to Wubar at Shasar village, First we see The archaeological site dates back to the Iron Age, where remains of the archaeological fortress are located with defensive towers ,defensive wall and the water well which was provided the Caravans of frankincense with water, At The archaeological site There is an information center . where the archaeological site Wubar is the portal access to the desert of the empty quarter.
Then we reaching AlKathaf douns to watch the sunset at the Atlantis Empty Quarter.
Finally Return to Salalah the way back is 250 km .
